Super informasjon!

Mvh. Anne

Erling Verner Hadselford - http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/conten ... hadselford
Erling Verner Hadselford died peacefully May 17, 2004 in Hemet, Calif. , a month shy of his 89th birthday. Born to Thea and Magnus Hadselford on June 17, 1915 in Duluth, Minn., the third of ten children. Erling grew up on, and eventually co-owned the family dairy farm with his brother-in-law Alvin and two other employees. He and his first wife Eleanor were very active with the Kenwood Lutheran Church and their square dance club. Their pride and joy was their home garden where they both spent every spare minute. In 1957 he and Eleanor bought a creamery in Orr, Minn. They ran the creamery until 1963 when they traveled to southern California for the winter and stayed. In California, Erling changed professions and trained to be an electrician, eventually becoming a Master Electrician and settling in Yucaipa. His job took him all over southern California, working on high power lines. He and Eleanor lovingly tended their home gardens and enjoyed traveling with their travel trailer. He was exceptionally proud of his membership in the Elks Lodge and was a Life Member of the Yucaipa Elks Lodge. Erling was preceded in death by his bride of 49+ years, Eleanor Jean Young; two sisters; a brother; two daughters; and two sons. Erling left behind his wife of thirteen years, Mercedes Phillips-Hadselford; four sisters, Doris Ingersol of Joshua Tree, Calif., Hazel Wuolle of Princeton, Millie Solem and Bernice Gagnon both of Duluth; one brother, Hilmer Hadselford, also of Duluth; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. SERVICES: According to Erling's wishes, a private service was held in Yucaipa and his ashes were spread by family. As Erling was a Life Member of the Yucaipa Elks Club, memorial donations are requested in his name to:Yucaipa Elks Lodge # 2389, Secretary of the Lodge, P.O. Box 578, Yucaipa, CA 92399.
