Christian Christopherson son of Christopher Halvorson Riste and Karin Olsdatter was born in Christiania, Norway on April 28, 1859. His father Christopher was from Vestre Slidre in Oppland and his mother was from Eidanger, Telemark. The family had emigrated to USA in 1850 but the mother came back to Norway and gave birth to Christian.

I am looking for the birth/baptism of Christian and when he and his mother returned to USA. According to the family the mother died in 1860 in USA but Christian did not emigrate until 1861. Who brought Christian to the USA?
