Place/Conyers/Wycliffe - an RPA correction

The newly published RPA, p. 112 sub Blakiston, covers Rowland/Roland Place of Halnaby, who mar. Margery Conyers, dau. of Sir John Conyers of Hornby and Margery Darcy de Knaith. RPA says that, after Rowland Place died, his widow Margery m. (2) Robert Wycliffe of Wycliffe.

I believe that the Margery (or Margaret) who mar. Robert Wycliffe was actually the aunt of the Margery who mar. Rowland Place. The pedigrees of the Place family cited in RPA (and one not cited by it) do not mention a 2nd marriage for Margery the wife of Rowland, while at least two pedigrees of the family of Conyers of Hornby (in Flower's 1563-4 visitation of Yorkshire and in J. W. Clay's Extinct and Dormant Peerages) show the two distinct Margerys, not one married twice. In addition, a pedigree of the Wycliffe family in Clay's edition of Dugdale's visitation of Yorkshire says that Margery the wife of Robert Wycliffe was dau. of Sir Christopher Conyers of Hornby and thus sister (not daughter) of Sir John C.

Any thoughts on this?
