Inquiry about Oslo byfogd entry

Legg inn av gj18847 » 08 mar 2013 19:04:33

I have a question about a note in an Oslo byfogd entry. In the upper left-hand corner is a hand written note "4/11 ... Gl Aker". Here's a link to my entry about Olaf Leonard Olsen Heian. http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?s ... %250A%2523
I gather that this note means that the marriage took place at Gamle Aker. I'm not sure what "4/11" signifies. I assume it is the date 4 Nov. The marriage took place on 29 Oct, 1936. I have not been able to find anything about this marriage in the Gamle Aker records. I thought that possibly the 4/11 was of the banns but I have not found one.

Do you have any ideas what the 4/11 signifies and why I have not found anything about this marriage in the Gamle Aker records?[/quote]

The marriage took place Oct. 29th, 1936.
4/11 means the date when the message about this marriage was sent to the vicard of Gl. Aker as he was responsible for the central register.

Just to clarifiy:

The wedding oct. 29th was a civil wedding, performed by the authorities. On nov. 4th, the officials sent a note to the church, just to inform the vicar.
