Johan Hansson Graaten (1821-1908) and Maren Turine Sørensdtr.
(ca.1817-1899) and their 9 children are found under Håvardsrudhagen on
pg.583-584 in Bind (Volume) VI of Flesbergboka (Sigurd Vinger, 2001).
Maren Turine Sørensdtr. was from Sandsvær, Buskerud.

Johan Hansson was from Vestre Graaten. His parents were:
Hans Johansson Reinholt (1803-1879) and Anne Marie
Adamsdtr.(ca.1802-1879). They had 6 children. Anne Marie Adamsdtr. was
from Kongsberg, Buskerud.

Hans Johansson was from Reinholt. His parents were:
Johan Abrahamson Tangene ( ? -1820) and Johanne Maria Hansdtr. Graaten
(1773-1850). They had 3 children. Johan Abrahamson was from Jondalen,
Buskerud.

from Rollag, Buskerud.

My name is Olav Gråthen - and I'am a descendant from Johan Hansen Graaten
...... I'm born in 1970 ... and presently living in Denmark. There is a lot
of living family in Norway and Canada. I started with Genealogy a year ago
.... so I don't have a lot of information ..... but then again ... It is the
information age .... and my database is now containing abt. 3000 names .....
I've started mapping the living and information still remembered by people
in Norway ..... and after that I will the go back in time.



There is one of the son's to Johan Hansen Graaten that left for the US - to
Grafton, ND ..... That was Hans Johansen Graten (Nov. 19 1853 - abt 1890
Grafton, Walsh, ND) married to Thea Nisldatter Spiten (Oct. 24 1857 - Nov 21
1919 Everett, Snohomish, Washington)(she had her mother with her Anne
Dorthea Christiansdtr. Myhra). + 6 kids



I know very little about this part of the family - is this the part your
friend is coming from?
