What happened to Karen Andersdatter b. 30/6 1850

Hi

I am looking for Karen Andersdatter born 30/6 1850 in Gran Norway. No 160:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN%3aNBN%3an ... 640654.jpg
She left her home in Gran 16.april 1870

I am pretty sure she was a passenger on the bark Colonist leaving Drammen 10. may 1870 and arriving in Quebeck 20. june 1870.
The passengers name is simply: Karen A: 20 (years old), but many others who left Gran the same day as her are passengers on that ship.
No 137: http://www.norwayheritage.com/p_list.as ... 6&ps=40958
After this I have found nothing about her.

She had several siblings. Two of them also emigrated to America:
Her brother Christian Andersen born 2. nov 1832 (Anderson in America) settled down in Holt, Fillmore county, MN.
Her sister Ingeborg Andersdatter born 14. june 1841 married Lars Larsen Egge (born 23. july 1832) in Norway and left with him and their daughter Rilda (born 15. mars 1868) 5. may 1870. They also settled down in Holt, Fillmore.
I have found her siblings in censuses, their children and deaths, but nothing about Karen.

A Karen Andersen gives birth Aug 27, 1870 in Elstad, Fillmore county.
I have not been able to find out if this is "my" Karen.

Hei Vivi!
I wonder if this is the Anders you found, born to Karen Anderson in 1870.
The question is..did he take the name Anderson or Pederson/Peterson.
Andrew Peteson age 30, b. APRIL 1970, living in Fillmore co Carrolton Twp, married to Dora with 2 kids...(I know the Anders you found was born in August, 1870)
Just thought I would try...
mvh Patty

Hi

This Anders is only of interest to me if he is the son of "my" Karen Andersen (-datter).
I have found that Ole Olsen Egge with wife and child who left Gran together with "my" Karen and sailed on the same ship as she did, settled in Fillmore county (first in Greenfild, Harmony township and later in Canton township).
I was thinking Karen might have done so too, because two of her siblings already lived in Fillmore.
