Helene Nilsdtr, f. 1852, Qvisselien -eie

We are looking for the fate of Helene Nilsdtr.

She was born 1852 Mar 8, married Gulbrand Halvorson 1880 Dec 29, and they had three children together:

Marta, f. 1881, d 1886, Herambs-eie
Martin, f. 1884, died in the US in 1970
Julie, f. 1886, died 1888, Stalsberg

We cannot find any records for her after the birth of her third child in 1886. In 1892, her husband married Syverinne Olsdtr and had a second family. His marriage record for this event does not list him as a widower, nor does the 1900 census (Kjonerud) say that he is in his second marriage.

Any information on what happened to Helene Nilsdtr would be most welcome!

The second marriage record for Gudbrand Halvorsen tells that he was previously married. In column 13 there is a note of a legal probate from the previous marriage (lovlig skifte avholdt)

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any records for probate from that time period (1886-1892), nor any death records for her in Ringsaker sokn, but it is good to have the information that she had passed away.
