Net Objects 8 and documents

Legg inn av John » 25. november 2004 kl. 22.29

Hi,
This is question is either very stupid or probably blindingly obvious, either
way I could do with an answer!
I have been sent an Adobe .pdf document and I would like to publish it on a web
page created with Net Objects Fusion8.
Is there an easy way of doing this that maintains the format etc. I tried cut
and paste, but that just sent everything out of kilter.
I do not want to have to type out the whole ten page document, unless I really
have to!
Thanks

John

Why not just put a link on the web page to the pdf? Anyone clicking on
the link will open the pdf document in Acrobat Reader in a new web page.

That had crossed my mind, but I was hoping to build pages arround the
documents, by splitting it into sections and including some photographs, if
possible.
Thanks for the suggestion though, may be the option in the end.

In that case look at pdfedit995 at http://www.pdf995.com/
"PdfEdit995 offers a wealth of additional functionality, such as:
combining documents into a single PDF; automatic link insertion;
hierarchical bookmark insertion; PDF conversion to formatted HTML or DOC
(text only)"

You can either buy the software or use it as sponsored software (it
launches an advert each time it processes data - it doesn't add or
overlay any info on the data).

I'd forgotten about this as I've never used the function although I use
other functions in the pdf995 package! Just tried the pdf->html
conversion and it seems to work.
