Hi
I believe I have found the birth of Paul (spelled Pavel) in Sandsvær, but I would like if anyone could give a second opinion!
It seems like Paul was a twin with a girl named Grete Cha??? and they were baptized Des 7, 1794 in Hedenstad in Sandsvær.
Father is Ole Olsen Broene Landsv.eje (meaning they now lived on a farm named Broene owned by a larger farm called Landsv. (Landsværk))
Among the godparents you find the names Sagen and Winger.
Mother's name is not mentioned, but it is written that she is "død" (dead).
The two at the bottom:

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1 ... 650346.jpg
Among the burried you find Karen Olsd. Landsværkeje who died Des 21, 1794. She was 34 years old.
At the very far right about midways down the page:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?i ... _side=-420 http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1 ... 650662.jpg
Looks like Ole remarried. This must be him and Paul in the 1801 census. Ole is no 2186:

Hi
The twin sister of Paul died March 1, 1795 only 11 weeks old.
Her name looks like Grete Carina Landsvær eje.
You find her 12 names below her mother at the far right:

Re: ole olsen saga
Hi
I'm a bit confused here.
When Paul is married Des 26, 1818 he is said to be 27 years old. This makes him born around 1793.
The Paul Olsen Bommen who dies May 3, 1867 is said to be 62 1/2 years old. This makes him born around 1805.
I can accept that the Paul married is the same as Paul from Sandsvær; also because his farmname is Landsværk.
BUT the dead Paul Olsen Bommen seems to be a bit too young!

Hi
Is this the baptizm of your Anders Sept 23, 1832 in Sandsvær? Born Aug 5, 1832.
No 48:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?i ... _side=-160
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1 ... 660160.jpg
Father's name is Paul Olsen Brua Landsværkeie. (There is a word between Brua and Landsværkeie that I'm not able to read)
I don't see the name Bommen here.
I believe the Paul Olsen Bommen is another man.
Anders still at the farm Brua in the 1865 census:

Hi.
Sandsvær bygdebok No. 7 is digitized but unfortunately it is available only for the Norwegian IP addresses.
I have copied the pages of the farms called Littlemoen and Brua where Ole and his family lived.
I hope you can translate the Norwegian text.
The pages are in PDF format.
