My grandmother was Martha Oss, or Lauritson. Her parents were Laurits (Lawrence) Johannesen (born in Aas, Osttle, Norway), and Johanna Annette Andreasen born in Rakkestad, Norway. My grandmother married Alvin Gorst in 1916. Does anyone has any info on this family?

Is anyone researching Robert Gorst, born about 1792 (or 1796) in England? He died in Mazomanie, Wisconsin in 1863. He was my great, great grandfather.
