Dear Group: Joan Arches who married John Dinham July 1434 is said to
be daughter of Richard Arches by Joan granddaughter of Sir Giles
Ardern of Oxfordshire. Is this Sir Giles related to the Ardern family
of Cheshire? Is anything known of the parents of Joan and those of

Joan's father was Richard, but her mother was not Joan, but Lucy ?,
whose mother was Agnes de Shareshul, sister and in her issue heir of
William de Shareshull, [CP IV p377(h)]
