Hundreds if not thousands of people are descended from Thomas Worsley
by his wife Barbara St John.
Here on Leo's excellent website
http://www.genealogics.org/getperson.ph ... 8&tree=LEO
we see this Thomas Worsley "of Apuldercombe" as there stated.
It just so happens that A2A has information re this
to wit, his father John Worsley of Appuldercombe
has an IPM there dated 13 Dec 1580 Reference: JER/WA/1/1
in which
"Thomas Worsley the heir is 20y 45w 3d old"
Anyone want to take a stab at calculating his exact birthdate from
this?
It just says as above "the heir" not "his SON and heir" so that was a
bit disappointing ... except the very *next* document JER/WA/1/2
does state SON. So there you go Leo.

I'd see that Sir James Worsley's heir was his son Richard was d 1565
and we've seen the (apparent) marriage contract in 1511/2. Now here
is the son already born.

Now that I've most cleverly figured it all out using only primary
sources, here comes old Burke to repeat my findings.
Of course *he* as was the standard practice in 18 whatever didn't cite
his sources
