Dear All
As some of you know, I have been spending a bit of time looking into
the curious case of a chap in Maryland who has set himself up online
as 'King of the Isle of Man'. He also sells "titles of nobility' at
special prices ranging from L30,000 to L90,000.
I have recently set up a website site looking at his claims - and
exposing them for the sham they are:

Kind regards, Michael
Just visited his website - hilarious that Fox "News" had him on and
treated him like "royalty". I also loved how he states that
"Archbishop" crowned him - with no name or church
If it was on Fox News, it should come as no surprise that it is bogus.
Hmmm...also on BBC, an hour special

really? i hope the BBC was a bit more tepid in their handling of his
claims than Fox "News" was
There was no such programme on the BBC.
The 'archbishop' is anonymous; the 'barrister' is anonymous; the 'lord
advocate' is anonymous; the 'supporters' are anonymous; the 'English
genealogist' is anonymous; the 'researchers' are anonymous; the
'experts' are anonymous.
So far the only authority actually named is... Douglas. If I were
Douglas I would ask for my name to be withdrawn - having it associated
with scams and fake title sales isn't good publicity.
Nevertheless, it amazes me what the press will pick up on during the
silly season.

exactly - but it's a good a laugh: his brazen medacity especially
when he writes that he was "crowned by archbishop in a secret
undisclosed location in maryland"....perhaps Dick Cheney was the
archibishop who crowned him?- Hide quoted text -

Well, given the coverage by Fox, maybe Rush Limbaugh bought an
archbishopric from Universal Life or something. Or maybe from HM of
Man hisself...

LOL...exactly...they don't exactly have a good track record for
verifying their sources of information!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmmm...
Huck Finn for Am president will change all that,
and bring back HM the Iron Lady of The Faulklands.
Lux
BBC's hour long special, viewed from the land down under, didn't
exactly
have a good track record
for verifying their sources of information either!!!!!!!!!
