More descents from John Dryden

we see John Dryden esq of Copes Ashby, co Northampton died 30 Sep 1584
with an MI in the Parish Church of Canons Ashby

Leo is showing four children by his wife Elizabeth Cope.

Now comes a source to tell us that there was yet another daughter
named Emme Dryden who married William Bury, esq of Grantham.

I have found seven children for this couple, all baptised at Grantham
in the IGI extracted baptismal register starting with Elizabeth Bury 4
Mar 1599 and ending with that William Bury 3 Jun 1605 who was later
Knt of Grantham, married Jane Plomer and had issue.

But another child of interest was that Bridget Bury bap 1 Aug 1602 at
Grantham who m 5 Oct 1626 at Little Ponton, Lincoln to John Hutchinson
"woollen draper of Alford" who was bap 18 May 1595 at Alford and
buried there 20 Jun 1644

You should recognize him as the uncle of Faith (Hutchinson) Savage and
also her brother Edward Hutchinson murdered by Indians in 1675 early
colonists

Bridget Bury survived her husband John Hutchinson "nearly 45 years"
being herself buried 14 Mar 1688/9
