Help "finding" with PAF5

How do I find a person in PAF5 if I only know given names and not the surname?

Thanks for any help...

Dave

Use the advanced find individual. Select the Field Filter Define button.
This brings up the list of all fields including user defined events.
Select Name and use the > arrow to add it to the definition. A dialog box
will pop up to set the condition. Use the And/Or and brackets to construct
a complete search argument .ie Given Name contains 'Bob' and born after '1
Jan 1900' etc.

You can save the argument to reuse again so you don't have to retype (or
re-think) how you want to set the search argument.

Thanks Dave. That works OK but it's not as easy for old time users of PAF 2.31. Of
course 2.31 didn't do reports or include photos with the file. I guess we have to
expect some growing pains over the years. ;-)
