I am looking for my fathers uncles. I have found alot about my grandfather and his ancestry in Norway but have not found out what happen to two of his sons or one daughter. The one daughter Nicoline Emilie Johansdatter born Ocotober 9,1892 in Trogstsad remained in Norway. The two sons Hans Christian Johansen born on March 1, 1860 at Lier in Trogstad and Baptized on April 1 1860 immigrated to the United States along with his brother August Johansen born August 29, 1865 on Nygaad in Trogstad and Baptized on October 8, 1865. Don't have the year. But they settled in Minnesota. Their parents are Carl Johan Nilsen Korperud born May 28 1828 at Korperud and Helene Olsdatter. They were married on March 2, 1854 in Trogstad. At the time of their marriage Helene was living on the Grefsli farm in Trogstad. Hope this gives someone enough background to find some information on the people I'm looking for.
