Nyqvist in Froland Verk

I am trying to find information on the family of Petter Nyqvist who died in Froland Werk 21 Aug 1841. His widow Marte Olsdatter Nyqvist died in Træ-eie 19 Feb 1859. They had at least one daughter Anne Sofie Pettersdatter who married Jørgen Thoresen 1 Oct 1843 in Froland. He was also from Træ-eie. After they married they moved to Kongsberg on 21 Mar 1847.

Can anyone tell me whether records exist of workers for the Froland Werk which may tell of this family? The family is known to have been in Froland as early as 1835 when Anne Sofie is confirmed, although she was born in Eidsvoll Verk, Akershus.

Tusen takk! Yes, you found the correct family. Perhaps I should mention that although Jørgen Thoresen was living at Træ-eie when they left Froland, he was born in Lillevold.
