Looking for birth and marriage for Aaste Pedersdatter. Aaste Pedersdatter born about 1820 in Saude married Halvor Jonsen born November 2, 1822 in Bø Telemark. They had a son John Halvorsen Myhre born March 1, 1850 in Bø, Telemark.
I have looked for Aaste's birth in Saude and Bø without any luck and also for their marriage without any luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Aaste Pedersdotter
Have you found John Halvorsen in the parish records for Bø?
I can only find a John Halvorsen who was born on the 14th.
The father is Halvor Johnsen, but the mother is not Aaste Pedersdatter - her name is Ragnild Olsdatter
Kjeldeinformasjon: Telemark fylke, Bø, Ministerialbok nr. 8 (1849-1861), Fødde og døypte 1850, side 18.

Permanent biletlenke: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1 ... 050464.jpg
Maybe I have overlooked him?
I can see here on the census 1865 he is with parents Halvor Johnsen and Aaste Pedersdatter. He is listed as "their child"
http://digitalarkivet.arkivverket.no/ft ... 8138003442
Halvor Johnsen and Ragnild Olsdatter were married on the 19th November 1849.
Here is the marriage record. He is a widower and she is a widow
Kjeldeinformasjon: Telemark fylke, Bø, Ministerialbok nr. 8 (1849-1861), Vigde 1849, side 244.

They also have children Ola (1853), Gunnild (1856) and Kari (1859)

Re: Aaste Pedersdotter
I quote after Bøsoga:
Halvor Jonsson married Aaste Peder Daughter of Sage Valley, and they had son Jon. He went on Klyve Teachers' College and was a teacher at the time Rennesøy at Stavanger. Here he began to hold religious meetings, and for a time he traveled to America, where he became pastor in Iowa. He released a Christian magazine "Peace Messenger" and in Bo he is known for "Myre Visa". Jon sent for his parents, who emigrated to America in 1881. They lived With Sveing Haugesag, brother Halvor Jonsson. Jon then built a small room at the vicarage's where parents later lived.
I have quit a lot of ancestors to Jon in my database, so if you wish, I can send you a mail.
