birth of Pernille Nilsdtr

We are looking for the birth of Pernille Nilsdtr. We believe, based on the dates and ages on her tombstone in Minnesota that she was born in 1817, perhaps in July.

We believe that she emigrated in 1869 and we know that the man she was with used the nam of Kolsveen.

Hello

Nobody named Pernille baptised in Fron 1816 - 1818.
It is a name I think was very little used in the Gudbrandsdalen valley area at that time.

Are you sure about her being from Fron?

And cannot find her on the 1865 census for Nord-Fron and Sør-Fron.

There is one Pernille Jensdatter from Fron who is married and lives in Elverum. She should be about the right age.

Mention that because I see in Oluf Rygh: Norske Gaardnavne that Kolsveen is a farmname in Elverum.

There is a Pernille Nilsdatter born sept 1817 in Elverum.
