Manufactuers of spinning wheels

One of the members of our bygdelag is trying to find out who or what company manufactured two spinning wheels, one from 1877 and the other from about 1907. The ancestors came to Wisconsin from Folldal and Alvdal.

The 1877 wheel has the initials of RJD painted on it, while the 1907 wheel has the initials of BPC carved into it, as shown in the attached photos. These are not the initials of the anyone in the family.

Thanks so much for any information you might be able to provide. The local museums in Folldal, Alvdal and Tynset have been contacted, but no reply has been received.
