Arne Ingebrigtsen and Randi Jonsdatter were married at Kvikne on 16 October 1786: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9230/44777/3
Arne ingebrigtsen was born in Lilleholte, Innset about 1752. His baptism was not recorded in the parish records since baptisms from Innset do not seem to have been recorded before 1764- only those in Kvikne. His wife, Randi Jonsdatter, was apparently from Kvikne, since couples were customarily married in the bride’s home parish. I have been searching for her birth and her parents for about thirty years. Here baptism is apparently unrecorded since there is a gap in the parish records from 1757-1763. Her confirmation is not recorded in either Kvikne or Innset. I would appreciate any information regarding the possible origins of Randi Jonsdatter. Thank you.

Her age is given as 37, i.e. born in 1764, no birthplace is given. The censuses are not very reliable sources, but it is at least an indication.

Is it possible that Randi Jonsdatter could have been the daughter of Jon Pedersen and Karen Estensdatter who were married at Kvikne on 20 November 1750: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9228/44766/123 They had a son, Peder Jonsen, baptized on 30 May 1751 at Kvikne: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9228/44766/130 They had another son, Esten Jonsen, baptized on 20 February 1753 at Kvikne: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9228/44766/141 and another son, Esten Jonsen, baptized on 6 April 1755 at Kvikne: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/9228/44766/163 I am then assuming that possibly Randi Jonsdatter could have been born in the gap of the Kvikne parish records from 1757-1763 and that her mother, Karen Estensdatter, may have died in childbirth.
