On page 399 of Bind V of Trysilboka, it reads:

II. Torgal Embretsen Østby (I,2) 1741-1811 g 1770 Anne Persdattter...

But, there is no I for this farm (Torgals Østby).

Is this a typographical error, or is there another farm to which it is referring?

"I" henviser til Trysilboka bind 1. Side 642: Torgals. under Søndre Østby (Gnr 16, bnr 1):

I had looked at the information in volume 1 -- and found it very useful.

But this is a separate reference.

For example, on the bottom right hand part of page 399, for Torgal Embretsen under IV, it reads;

Torgal Embretsen (III, 3) og Anne Halvorsdatter...

and, in looking at the listing above that for III, indeed, number 3 is this Torgal.

So, for my Torgal under II, the reference to (I, 2) seems to point to a listing under roman numeral I, but I did not see that in the book.
