Birth homes of Johan Anderson and Karen Olsdotter

Johan Anderson (f 1825) and his wife Karen Olsdotter (f 1829) had four children while living in Eidsvoll (c. 1850 to 1865 near Langseth). Johan died shortly after Jens was born in 1861. Karen was a widow in 1865 census. Ole Johansen, their oldest son, went to America(Ft Dodge, Iowa) in 1872. Karen and Ole's three younger brothers (Andreas, Even and Jens) went to America(Ft Dodge, Iowa) in 1875. I can find no record of Johan or Karen before 1861 or after 1865 in Norway.
Because Stange is so close to Eidsvoll, did Karen and Johan grow up there and move to Eidsvoll? Secondly, did Karen and her sons return to Stange after 1865? If so where. I cannot find them.
In America, Ole became Ole Johnson, married Mary Larson and had many children. His grandson is now looking for the birth home of his great grandparents and grandparents in Norway so he can visit.
