I am looking for the marriage and parents of Ole Engebretsen, f ca 1791 and Kari Pedersdtr, f ca 1793, with Kari said (as part of her death record in Løten) to have been born in Romedal.
According to the Løten bygdebok, they had three children in Romedal, but none are listed in the Romedalboka:
Engebret Olsen, f 1823 østre Løkeneie
Anne Olsdtr, f 1826 Herseteie
Peder Olsen, f 1829 Herseteie
I don't need links to the births of the children, but any information on the marriage of Ole and Kari and their parents would be most helpful.
Thanks,

I think that I found the marriage (1822 Apr 2), but the parents aren't listed.
Any help would be welcome!

Yes, they married April 2, 1822. He was 30 and she was 28.
According to the given age when marriage he should be born 1792.
Then it is a problem: Ole Embretsen born 1790 on Mæhlum, Ole Embretsen born 1791 on Hørsandstuen,. It is hard to say who of them wich married 1822.
His name was not Ole Engebretsen but Embretsen!!
There was one child more, Christian born 1832 on Vestbrynseie.
The bygdebook does not contain information about people living on catters places. Many bygdebooks does not do that.

Ole Embretsen Granberg was konfirmert in 1807 with his brother Jon
Permanent sidelenke: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?i ... x_side=-94 in the 1801 folketelling of Rommedal i found a ole engebretsen with a brother Joen, ole is 14 in 1801 and Joen is 8.
The second Ole Engebretsen i found is 11 years old and the son of Engebret Olsen and Siri Olsdatter. The farm is named Mæhlum Søndre so i think that he could the one your looking for.

UPDATE: I found a enkemann named Ole Embretsen age 37, with his son Ole 10, daughter Anne 12 and Johanne 4 on Hørsand in the 1801 ft. their numbers are from 440-443. And his wifes name was Anne Jonsdatter on Oles baptism 20. february1891. Maybe his the one because your Ole had a son named Engebret and a daughter named Anne.

Hei Kristin ~

I don't think that these people are the ones that I am looking for. My Ole Embretsen/Engebretsen was born about 1791. The Ole above who was born in 1791 would have been Ole Olsen, ikke sant?
If I am reading both of your notes and Hans' note, the only data sources I would have are the 1801 census, the confirmation records and the birth records. But none of these tie the children that are found this way to people who married in 1822, since the marriage record doesn't give the names of the bride's and groom's parents.
Is there any other way in which I might tie the children found to the adults who married?

PS ~ For Kari Pedersdtr, I did find a girl in the 1801 census who matches the date of the woman who married in 1822. Should I just assume that this is the right person, or is there some other way to possibly match up information?

Re: Ole Engebretsen og Kari Pedersdtr ca 1820
I'm sorry, i didn't write the correct name : his name is actually Embret Olsen. Look at the 1801- telling for 0416 Rommedal. Spell the name Embret. ok? The one i mean is 37 years old.
Re: Ole Engebretsen og Kari Pedersdtr ca 1820
Hei John.
