Marriage of Anders Olsen, Hole, Buskerud, 7 Aug 1815

Please forgive me for being a new person on this forum and not a Norwegian speaker.

I have been looking at the marriage record for my ancestors Anders Olsen Svenbye and Johane Pedersdatter Grefsrud on 7 August 1815 in Hole parish, Buskerud. The permanent link is http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?i ... _side=-200

My question concerns the rather lengthy statement included in the record, which is signed by the two sponsors of the marriage.

Would someone be so kind as to give me a brief general idea as to what the statement says? I am not looking for a complete translation, just a summary sentence or two. I think that Johane may have been previously married to the brother of Anders, and that Anders is a soldier, if that is helpful.

Sometimes being a Norwegian speaker doesn't help much when it comes to interpreting things like this

I have not been able to interpret the whole text but from what I can gather, in the right margin it states that they were given a "Royal Grant" (i.e. permission) to proceed with the wedding. In the text below the 2 sponsors had to sign that they would take full responsibility for the couple. From what I can gather it says something about the attempt to marry has been stopped once before.

Hopefully someone else can shed some light on this as to perhaps the reasons for the initial ban and grant.

Yes, that is an earlier message I posted on the same topic, before I found this forum topic and posted here also. Thanks to Astrid Karen Nalvig for her work there, and Charlotte Hagen for responding here. I don't know if I will ever find out why the original marriage was stopped.
