Ida Iversdatter Vigtild ble født på Frosta i Nord-Trøndelag 17.02.1874. Hennes foreldre var Iver Lorentsen Vigtild f. 16.01.1843 på Frosta og Marie Kristoffersdatter Værnes f. 31.01.1844 i Stjørdal.
Familien flyttet til Skogn i Nord-Trøndelag, og Ida ble konfirmert i Alstadhaug kirke i Skogn 29.09.1899.
Ida emigrerte til USA. Som 19-åring reiste hun fra Norge 06.09.1893 med skipet "Juno" til Quebec i Canada som første reisemål. Ida reiste sannsynligvis videre til Wisconsin, der hun ble gift og stiftet famile. Hun brukte navnet Ida Iversen ved utreisen.

So far I am not finding an Ida about 26 years old, in the Wisconsin 1900 census as a single person...perhaps she was married by then...
I guess you do not know where in Wisconsin she settled?

Webster - Ruth Monzel, 90 of Webster died on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at Bethesda Home in Webster. Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Webster, Rev. William Olsen officiating. Burial will be in St. Otto's Cemetery. Visitation will be at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster on Sunday 4-8 p.m. and at the church Monday prior to services. Ruth Harriet Moxness was born on Thursday, April 22, 1915, in Bristol, S.D. to Christian and Ida (Iverson) Moxness. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Bristol. She grew to young womanhood in the Bristol area and graduated from Bristol High School in 1932. Ruth worked in a variety of governmental and service oriented jobs in the Bristol and Webster area and was especially known for her customer service at Nerger's Store, Webster. On Nov. 17, 1948, she was united in marriage to John "Hans" Monzel in Minneapolis, Minn. They lived their married life on the Monzel family farm in rural Morton Township and in 1967 moved to Webster. Mr. Monzel passed away in 1989. After his death she continued to live in Webster and in 1992 entered Bethesda Home. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lutheran Church Women and Circle, Morton Tuesday Club, Sr. Websterian Study Club, Women's Thursday Club, Sons of Norway, and hospital auxiliary. Ruth assisted in coordinating many of her high school reunions and also served as an editor of the Sons of Norway newsletter. She loved writing letters on her antique typewriter. She also enjoyed sewing, painting, crocheting, quilting, writing poetry, and especially taking care of her grandchildren Jacque, Jon and Justin Ohleen. A special joy entered her life on Jan. 9, 2005, with the birth of her great-grandchild Carter Jon Ohleen. She is survived by her daughter Barbara (Dave) Ohleen, Webster; grandchildren Jacqueline Ohleen, Aberdeen; Jon (Lisa) Ohleen, Aberdeen; Justin Ohleen, Aberdeen; and great-grandson Carter Ohleen, Aberdeen; several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers Arnie Moxness, Julius Moxness, Sophus Moxness and sisters Mildred Slattery and Effie Davidson. Casket bearers are Dave, Jon and Justin Ohleen, Paul Moxness, Jeff Skaare, Perm Trautner, and Todd Koenecke. Soloists will be Paul and Diana Moxness and Mr. David Prieb. Nå har jeg fått systematisert og registrert de opplysningene jeg har fått fra mine gode hjelpere.
Men det er ennå et par spørsmål jeg ikke har fått et klart svar på:
I 1920 United States Federal Census er det for Ida Moxness registrert 5 barn.
Jeg har fødsels- og dødsdato på alle barna unntatt Christ S. som oppgis å være 11 år.
Er det noen som kan finne de manglende datoer?
Dessuten har jeg funnet at Ida dør i nov. 1962. Dødsdatoen finnes i slektstreet http://sharpgenealogy.com/ under etternavn som begynner på I.
Er det noen som kan bekrefte dette fra et dødsregister?

Men det er ennå et par spørsmål jeg ikke har fått et klart svar på:
I 1920 United States Federal Census er det for Ida Moxness registrert 5 barn.
Jeg har fødsels- og dødsdato på alle barna unntatt Christ S. som oppgis å være 11 år.
Er det noen som kan finne de manglende datoer?
Dessuten har jeg funnet at Ida dør i nov. 1962. Dødsdatoen finnes i slektstreet http://sharpgenealogy.com/ under etternavn som begynner på I.
Er det noen som kan bekrefte dette fra et dødsregister?

If I have this correct "Christ" age 11 in the 1920 census is the one listed in the SSDI (and also mentioned by Hanne Line in her SSDI search) as Sophus Moxness, b. Feb 26, 1908 and died Dec 1986.

In 1910 United States Federal Census is a child registered with the name Sophia (2 years). In 1920, a child with the name of Christ S. registered and is 11 years old.
It appears therefore that Sophia and Christ S. is the same person and should be named Sophus Christian!
Because of incorrect registrations this confused me!
But now I'm convinced that Sophus Christian is the right person.

Oh I can surely understand your confusion!
I just looked at the 1910 census...even though "Sophia" age 2 (in the 1910 census) is a girl's name...it lists the child as a son!...so this must be "sophus"!!
I was also confused trying to figure this out!
