I wonder if it is churchbooks I can read from USA¨from about 1930.
Cook Illinois. Dane Wisconsin. Fayette Iowa.
From about 1920: Chicago.
If I can read that books I hope to find the name of theres woman they were married to.

There are lots of Churchbooks in the USA, but just like Norway, you have to know what Church they attended. In the 1950's all the Churchbooks were microfilmed to be preserved for future generations. These microfilms are available for a price.

Henry Alfred ''Hank'' Gorder, age 90, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002. He was born on Jan. 16, 1912 in Chicago, and spend most of his life as a trader in stocks and bonds, and retired in 1974 as Chicago Vice-President for Stone and Webster Securities Corp. Mr. Gorder was a long time member of the Normennenes Singing Society, the Sons of Norway and the Bond Club of Chicago. He served over 20 years on the Governing Board of Norwood Park Old Peoples Home in Chicago and for six years on the Board of Skaalen Home in Stoughton. Following retirement, he lived for a short while in Florida, then returned to Illinois, living in McHenry until moving to Stoughton in 1996. He married Elysine Virginia Pedersen on June 28, 1941. In addition to his beloved wife of 61 years, he is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Laura Lee India (John) Gorder Martin of Indianapolis, IN; and three grandchildren, Christopher Trygve Martin of Los Angeles, CA, Kari Lynn Martin of Brevig Mission, AK and Mrs. Karen Jennifer (Karl) Martin Gruenberg of Spartenburg, SC. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 4, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 848 E. Main St., Stoughton. Reverend Robert Garbrecht will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church. Burial will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Mount Olive Cemetery in Chicago. Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home, Stoughton, WI. 608-873-9244.

I do not find any more information. You will need to try and contact his daughter or grandchildren that were listed in the obituary.
