Hei. Jeg søker etter min grandtante f: 1884 og utvandret til Usa 14 Mai 1902. Hun var oppvokst på Kornstad i Averøy. Hun dro med båten hv.stj. linjen,men hadde ingen billett står det skrevet. Jeg vet hun ble gift der, men hun hadde trolig ingen barn.Mer vet jeg desverre ikke. Hadde vært moro å få vite mer om henne enn dette. Noen som kjenner til denne slekten? Hennes foreldre var: Karl Oluf Jakobsen f: 1865 og Marit Vevang F: 24/4-1860. Bodde på Kornstad (kornstad). Håper noen vet.

Ann- Karin: Why not call that person? Go to the link and type in Wevang!
If he/she is related to Carl it might be the easiest way to get his obituary; maybe more info too.

(I think the best chance to get more info on Anna Carlsen is to find her fathers obit.
Probably she married soon after the arrival to America.
If she stayed nearby her dad it might be a chance to find her in censuses and other records; there are onlyt some few Ann* born in Norway 1884 +/- 2 years immigrated about 1902 living in Chicago in 1910 as married)
