Dear Sirs!

Several months ago I started to find my relatives in Norway. I had inaccurate information that obviously one of my relatives shipped on his boat to Norway from Soviet Union in 1930s.
And some time ago I have received information from Asker bibliotek | Postboks 370, 1372 Asker | askerbibliotek.no | that ash of Mikael Soubbotin was buried in The Old crematorium.

"Mikael Soubbotin
Died 4/11 1942
Anne_Marie Elstad
Paul Rimsky - Korsakoff
Funeral : Det gamle Krematoriet mandag 9/11 kl. 1330.

An article in the same newspaper dated June 8th 1929. The article is about Russian emigrants, and the “Russian colony” in Oslo. Some information about Soubbotin: “The captain who is in charge of the little ship “Michail”, that still sails with the old Russian flag.

There is also a drawing in the newspaper depicting “Soubbotin in conversation with engineer Prestin”.
There seems to have been a sort of club of Russian Emigrants, who at that time had Mr. Rimsky-Korsakow as leader.
A person named Valery Carrick was in the same club, and he lived in Asker until his death in 1943. However, it does not seem to be any information about Mr. Sobbotin related to Asker."

Now I am trying to find information about eventual sons and daughters of Mr. Mikael Soubbotin. Could somebody help me to continue my search? Thank you.

Yours truly,
Ilya Subbotin.

The death notice in Aftenposten
says "Our dear friend" - and the names under the death date indicates that he had no children in Norway.
