Does anyone have access to the Beistadboka? I am specifically looking for the Malmoe farm that I believe is located in Bartness??

Go to DA FT-1865. Mark the County no. 17 Nord-Trøndelag. Write Malmo in "Bosted" (at the top in right side) then SØK

The Malmo farms (two of them) is located at Malm, not Bartnes.
Today Malm is the community center for Verran commnity, but in older days it belonged to Beitstad, thereof the Bartnes connection.
What are you looking for? I live 7 miles from.

I am trying to find one of my Ancestors and where he originally came from. His name is Christopher Thomassen born 1756 married to a Marit Jonsdtr. born 1759. Children with Marit: Sophia Christophersdatter b. 1782, Anne Margarethe b. 1784, and Thomas Christophersen b. 1788. He then married Jonetta Knudsdatter not sure on her birth year. They had a child: Bernt Christophersen Silderen b. 1804.

I believe the children from the first marriage ended up in the Selen Farm and of course the child from his second marriage ended up in the Silderen farm.

I have him listed in both Rennemoe and Malmoe farms in the Malmboka but only briefly as he came from somewhere else. I am beginning to believe that he came from Bartness.
