the pursuit of ideas must wait for the turbulence of the current world
affairs to subside. Peace and war are transitory. Let us not bend scholastics to
either. In view of the many ideas on the potential muslim/christian
connections you have presented, I for one would very much like to see a printed
version of this work. Best regards.

Oh, please, I never refrained from publishing
controversial material - one of my recent math papers
started a fracas - but in this weird world of us where
people equate Muslim with terrorist, I'm threading
with caution. Also, as it is well-known I try to share
everything I know (and never refrain from acknoledging
mistakes, like e.g. the Abdallah link which I no
longer support).
Yes, if I'm invited to do so I will summarize my case
in a paper.

Would you consider publishing an article outlining
the evidence and the
line in some obscure (I guess they are all obscure)
genealogical
journal? I'm sure that would not excite much
politics, since only
genealogists read them.
It's a shame to deprive the world of knowledge. If
we do that, the
terrorists win. Please don't bury this.

What I have is:
- There are several attested members of the
Ummayad,
Lakhmid, Qayzi, and even Hasanid families near
Coimbra
in the 10th-11th century. They interacted with the
local and regional top-ranking Christian nobility
to
the point of having their documents witnessed by
them.
They also intermarried with that nobility.
- There are several individuals in that time-frame
and
region that can be identified to characters in the
Legend of Maia, about the origin of the Lords of
Maia.
- If my conjecture about an Idrissid origin of
these
overlords is correct, then the totally
unsubstantiated
legend of their origins in Ramiro II is in fact a
Christianization of their origins in the Hasanid
royal
house.
The book I wrote is ready. However I'm not sending
it
to the publisher because of one of its main tenets
(which btw has been asserted by other researchers)
-
demographically, it is possible that almost
everybody
in Western Europe is descended from Prophet
Muhammad.
At this point such a statement is a highly charged
political statement, and I wouldn't like to
confuse my
book with politics.
As I said before, I'm an agnostic.
