Dear Newsgroup:

In the the course of researching my maternal ancestor, Maurice le
Botiller, came across these items of interest and wanted to share
these discoveries:

(1214), m.3 [available on Family History Library (FHL), Salt Lake
City, microfilm # 0,990,107]: Occurrence of Margeriam que fuit uxor

8-9 Henry III (1224), m.27: Radulfus le Butiller point loco suo
Mauricium filium suum versus Nicholaum le Abbe de placito servitii
etc.

Curia Regis Rolls ... Preserved in the Public Record Office, 19 vols.
(London: H.M.S.O., 1922-), 18:100, no. 525, Roll 130 Trinity Term, 27
Henry III (1242), m.19d: Addressed as domun Mauricii le Butiller.

Unsure if esteemed medievalists like the Doug Richardsons of the world
came across the christian name of what appears to be the wife of
Maurice le Botiller of Oversley and father of Ralph le Botiller. But
thought this would at least stimulate discussion.

Sincerely,

Steve Barnhoorn
