Princess of Greece

Legg inn av eachwaynet » 14 sep 2004 13:34:07

George von Oldenburg, King of Greece, married Maria Bonaparte (1882-1968)
Princess of Greece, Dau of Ronald (?) Bonaparte.

What is known about her family (who were her parents) and her relation to
Napoleon?
regards

This has nothing to do with medieval genealogy. Try alt.talk.royalty.

Is that sarcasm I hint. It is bad when a new poster has to help you
out. For the rest of the group I've been helping out Kevin Hearst with
the Rockefeller genealogy, portraits, and such in emails, until his
great-grandfather passed away, it seems like he has disappeared. I
don't know him personally, so I don't know.

She certainly was the daughter of Roland Bonaparte.
You can find more about her ancestry here

Why is it bad? This newsgroup is about medieval genealogy. The 1800s and
the 1900s does not belong to the medieval period!

When you mention it, I seems a bit odd, yes.

That's great, I'm glad you got answers one way or another, that's what's important.
