Note that her ancestress Christian Nicolson (no. 209), bapt. 27 Aug.
1695, is given as daughter of Josias Nicolson and Christian ---. The
link below shows that a Josias Nicholson was licensed to marry a Mrs.
Christian Cholmley in London in 1693:

The Duff who married this Adam Fraser is identified by Alistair and
Henrietta Tayler in "The Book of the Duffs" (1914) as Margaret Duff,
dau. of Alexander Duff, 3rd of Torriesoul, by his 1st wife Margaret
Irvine of Drum. Margaret is said to be "of Drummuir" in some sources
(including CB and BLG), but it was her brother Adam who first
purchased that estate.

This source refers to Adam Fraser as "of Finzeauch, son to Fraser of
Durris" - which appears to agree with the item you cited and with
WAR's pedigree. Adam Fraser and Margaret Duff are ancestors of both
wives of the Prince of Wales.

In 1275 there was an assize of mort d’ ancestor brought by Robert de
Mortimer and Jocosa his wife against John son of William la Zusche,
touching possessions in Petworth and Ludgershall, Sussex. (Annual
Report of the Duty Keeper of Public Records. GBPRO.)
Is this not, William of Blaketorington? Joyce's father was dead and to
my knowledge had no son John.

The following are most probably the descendants of Sir Oliver la
Zouche/Zuch/Southe, son of Alan and Elena de Quincy.
The citations are from Wykeham's Register in the Publications of the
Hampshire Record Society, pp. 373,398, 438.
License granted to Alexander, r(ector) of North Chardeforde (Charford)
to confess Sir John Southe, kt. And dame Margaret his wife, tenants at
South Charford and to officiate in the chapel there saving the rights
of the parish church—Bishop's Sutton, 4 April 1386.1
18 Feb. 1387, William, chaplain of Breamore, appointed confessor to
Sir William Southe, knt. And Dame Margaret his wife and their
household.2
March 1392 License granted to Sir John de Southe, kt. To exhume the
body of his deceased wife Margaret in Breamore churchyard, for
reinterment within the priory. Winchester 26 Jan.
The last Sir John, may have been the same as: 1394 (E 326/6) Release
by John Chynnore and Robert Waryner, executors of a testament of John
Souch, to John Popham, knight, and Matilda, his wife, from all suits
and actions against them : [Hants.] Friday after St. Vincent, 17
Richard II. [1394]

Could JOhn and william have been brothers?
Thank you for your observations,
Pat

Note that no. 50, Rev. James Joyce of Dorking, is said to be son of
Jeremiah Joyce of Freshford, Somerset, whereas the sources below calls
him a son of James Joyce of Frome, Somerset, and provides a date of
baptism from Frome records ...

Moreover, some "new" Bateman, Clegg, and Leek ancestors of no. 39,
Rebekah Bateman, wife of Samuel Hope, are given in the sources below
(the statement that Richard Bateman d. 1744 cannot be correct) ...
