What have you been drinking? I was not going to mention all, the
granddaughter I referred to was
QVictoria, mother of Empress Victoria, mother of Margaretha of Prussia who
married Friedrich Karl von Hessen.

You used to know what you are talking about but that is a long time ago.

Very sloppy, misleading and incomplete on Leo's part.

A granddaughter of Queen Victoria, Princess Alice Maud Mary, married a
HESSEN-DARMSTADT -- namely:
===========Granddaughter? This is her daughter, very sloppy, misleading and

totally wrong, if you do not know the difference between a daughter and a
granddaughter you'd better not comment
Ludwig IV v. HESSEN-DARMSTADT Grossherzog v. Hessen und bei Rhein.

Whereas TWO sisters of Prince Philip married into relevant lines:

Sophia married a von HESSEN...

Whereas Cecilie married a von HESSEN-DARMSTADT.

Heinrich 'das Kind von Hessen' d.s.p???? How could you ? :-) In his
male line till the present he has an enormous descent to include the
present.

One granddaughter of Queen Victoria married a Hessen, a sister
of Prince Philip married a Hessen.
---------------------------------
That would explain it. For some reason I'm very interested in all the
interconnected minor English families but when I get into the thousands
of
German princelings I just start to fall asleep.

OK I'll check it out and add the descent from him to Vickie ;)

Leo is quite obviously back on the sauce again.

Drinking and posting is NEVER a Good Idea...

But Leo does it constantly...

Hence the gibberish he broadcasts below.

Princess Margaret Beatrice Feodora is the granddaughter's name.

Her mother was Princess Royal Victoria Adelaide Mary who married Kaiser
Friedrich III.

Apart from the ludicrous attempt by Hines to cast aspersions on
someone else, to distract from his own error while tring in vain to
correct Leo the first time, he have now made another basic error
displaying his ignorance of the royal family and titles that so
unhealthily fascinate him: Queen Victoria's eldest daughter and
namesake was the Princess Royal, like Anne today, but they are not
called by the hill-billy formulation "Princess Royal Victoria" or
"Princess Royal Anne".

This is as ignorant as a yokel talking about "Queen of England
Elizabeth", "Duke of Edinburgh Phillip" or "Prince of Wales Charles".
Only breathless tabloid journalism of the lowest kind sinks to this
sort of oafishness.
