Edward IV: heraldic heir of Brittany

Actually, for an arguable claim, Eudes III does not
need to be son born of Bertha.
According to historical record, Bertha's second
husband, Eudes II, was co-ruler of Brittany, for
certain reasons. Some would construe that to have
taken place as 'jure uxoris'.
Already the fact that Eudes II held ducal rule of
Brittany in some form, be it only as consort, will
render his heirs an arguable (perhaps weak, but
nevertheless) claim to the same rulership.

This was common in Middle Ages: several male rulers,
who climbed to a rulership orignally as consort of
heiress, left succession to their heir born of
another marriage.
Some could that was nasty robbing of heiress-wife's
family patrimony to stranger blood. Well, it happened
often enough.
