Subject: The Royal Descents Of 688 Immigrants
In the 2006 edition of The Royal Descents of 600 Immigrants he added
eighteen new immigrants to his previous 650. In this edition, he has
added twenty-eight more, so that with a few disproofs (Curwens/Corwins of
Massachusetts and New York, Byes of Pennsylvania, and Edwardses, one Evans
and Hugh Jones of Pennsylvania), this total is now 688.
Who put this waffle together?
I presume we now have an 2008 edition?
In the 2006 edition of <snip> 600 immigrants he added 18 new ones to the
previous 650? Gobbledygook to me
600 immigrants was published in 2004 not in 2006
Did he reduce in 2006? from the previous 650, to 600 ? to which then were
added 18 new ones?
If it is 600 plus 18 plus yet another 28 makes 646 minus (I count in the
above) 5 totals 641
or
If it is 650 plus 18 plus yet another 28 makes 696 minus (I count in the
above) 5 totals 691 or did the illustious Hines muddle the disproofs?
With best wishes
