Frances (? Lone), first wife of John Dane of Roxbury

One of my interesting "new" ancestors (and by "new" I mean basically
that they were found after I decided I could accept that Hannah, wife
of Joseph Wiliams was a daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth [Slapp]
Hovey, and tried to trace her ancestry) is John Dane, Sr. (d. 1658 at
Roxbury), an immigrant to New England whose son, John Dean,
"chirurgeon," wrote an extensive autobiography of himself about 1682
(available here ...):

John, Sr., had a son Francis and a daughter Elizabeth, in addition to
John the memoirist. John Ward Dean's pedigree of the family shows a
first wife, but does not mention her name:

The autobiography of her son mentions that she was a servant to "Lady
Denny." Many secondary sources call her either Frances Rowley or
Frances Bowyer. For instance ...

However, the extracted IGI has a record at Little Berkhampstead, co.
Hertford, which may apply (Dane's son wrote, "In my infansy, my
fatther Removd his habetation from barcumstid [Berkhampstead] to
Starford [Stortford]"):

Little Berkhampstead, Hertfordshire
--Johaes Dane to Frasisca Lone, 19 Oct. 1605

Is this well-known? I found one tiny reference to it on the internet
with the somewhat cryptic additonal note that "Frances Lone's widowed
mother remarried to Thomas Bower." This makes me think that there is
a Bower or Bowyer will in existence which mentions a "daughter Frances
Dane," or some such.

A gentle Dane family from Stortford is shown in the 1568 London
Visitation. Is there a known link between this family and the New
England immigrants?

Any additional details welcome.

This helps to explain it ...

John Dane was born about 1587 in Berkhampstead, Hertfordshire. He
married about 1608 Frances Bowyer who died about 1641 in Roxbury. MA.
He married second Annis Bayford who died in 1682/83. Frances was
probably the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Bowyer based on certain
"benefactions" recorded for the Parish of Bishop's Stortford. "John
Dane, by deed dated 21st July 1630, in consideration of the Parish
haveing been at great charge in relieving Margaret his mother-in-law,
the wife of Thomas Bowyer, after the death of her husband, and
conveyed a parcel of ground taken out of a great yard belonging to
John Dane, with a herenail ther or booth, and half part of a well
lying in Hockerill Street, for the benefit of the chief inhabitants of
this Parish forever."
