Can anyone advise whether this is such a type of land as YOOLL lands.
If so what does it describe.
If not can anyone suggest what the person writing a Will maybe talking
about.
The person writing the Will is apparently quite well educated and owned land
in Wortham.
I have the Will of 1653 which states (as best can be read) amongst other
things:
"Item: I give and bequeath to Elizabeth my wife this house wherein I now
dwell,
with all ?change/charge? named structures and buildings,
and outbuildings and gardens thereto belonging,
with our ?YOOLL? of land, called by the name of ?sponge/sporge?,
and at the end thereof a ?YOOLL? of land for farming our cow."
The words with ? before and after, means the word is not very well
decipherable OR readable.
Any assistance with these words would be appreciated

Parcell, as Ian Wallace suggested.
The "p" will have a line through it, to show it is an abbreviation for
"per" or, in this case "par". The resulting letter may look like a "y".
The first "o" in ooll, could be the "c", read as an "o".
So you have
p'cell.
Parcell.
