Free Market was Fw: Sensible Simulposting

Some people are so confused. What is a free market? A market where you deal
with equal minded people, anywhere.

You also have many specialised "markets". Let's say we have a free
market-----only one news group, for everything.
You will have to wade through messages from doggy scoopers, drinking
whisky,
to how to build a kite (wish Hines could), how a car engine can be used
more
economically, to interracial porn pictures.

The reason we have a "specialised" market is that you should only see what
you expect to see. Not what some twits force on you.
Already having to cope with Spam, we can do without Bad Food in Britain and
all those other fascinating subjects which have nothing to do with mediaval
genealogy or history. We only want an "intended audience" on Gen-med.

With best wishes

INDEED!

Because they are not in the intended audience.

What happened to the Free Market of Ideas? If you start filtering, you
no longer have a free market.

If they filter THEMSELVES out that is to be welcomed and applauded.

Oh, how we wish you would. We'd probably even applaud you.
