John Price, vintner of Shrewsbury, father of Joan Price, wife of
George Cleeves of Maine, has a monument in St. Chad's, Shrewsbury, as
can be verified by many Google Books refs.

(His son-in-law, Cleeves, was also a vintner.)

Price's memorial in St. Chad's is given in full in Owen and Blakeway's
_History of Shrewsbury_:

And discussed elsewhere . . .

It has been speculated that Sir Henry Bromley was Price's landlord at
the Pheasant (as the top of the monument refers to a certain "H.B.").
The 1623 Shropshire Visitation shows Sir Henry with a daughter Mary
who married "John Prinne."

Yet the following source indicates Mary Bromley actually married a
John PRYSE ...

Is this John Price who married Mary Bromley any connection of the
Prices of Newtown or New Town, the family of Mrs. Cleeves' father (as
shown in _RD600_, for instance)?
