Brome of Baddesely Clinton and Holton CORRECTION

Legg inn av Gjest » 09 okt 2007 17:10:04

Having another look at A2A Shakespeare Birthplace Trust Records Office DR
3/464 and 3/294, here are corrections to some dates, but the construction
appears correct even though Nicholas and Elizabeth had a daughter and a
granddaughter of almost the same age. (Thanks for Will Jhonston for pointing out my
errors)

Edward Brome d. 1531 and his wife was Margery Beaufo.

Thomas Hawes was more properly "of Solihull."

The Lampeck-Brome marriage is probably correct, as A2A has the
following document ("Ferrers family of Baddesley Clinton" collection):

Reference: DR 3/291
BADDESLEY CLINTON AND WARWICK

I've just recently discovered "Lampeck" is a Cornish surname:

http://books.google.com/books?id=TfwEAA ... dq=lampeck

Nicholas Brome's first wife was Elizabeth Arundel from Cornwall, and
that is possibly how he came into contact with this Katherine Lampeck.
