Mr. Jonathan Tuckney & Mrs. Martha Wilford

Discussing the Oct. 1662 will of Martha (Cammock) (Wilford)
Saltonstall, the NEHGR mentions that she was apparently a widow, and
that her will mentions the poor of Crayford; her son Welford [ie.,
Wilford] and his sons Tom and Frank; and leaves the bulk of her
property to her daughter Tuckney in trust for her granddaughter Martha
Wilford.

Searching in Google Books on the words "Wilford [and] Tuckney," I find
that the parish register for Colwick, Nottinghamshire, has the
following marriage:

Mr. Jonathan Tuckney, & Mrs. Martha Wilford, both of C.[olwick], 16
Nov. 1665

I'm speculating that this is the marriage of Martha Saltonstall's
granddaughter Martha with her own step-brother Jonathan Tuckney. The
DNB sketch of Rev. [Anthony?] Tuckney shows him with a son Jonathan,
born ca. 1639, and a second wife, Mary (Wilford) Hill, widow of Thomas
Hill, d. 1653:

Colwick is not terribly far from Boston, where the Tuckney family held
sway. I would guess that Martha Wilford and her step-brother were
"intended" for each other at the time of their grandmother's will of
1662.

_Great Migration Begins_ identifies Richard Saltonstall's third wife
Martha as "Martha (Cammock) Wilsford, daughter of Thomas and Frances
(Rich) Cammock, and widow of Francis Wilsford."
