*Oxford Dictionary of National Biography has a bio of Charles Stewart Rolls, co-founder in 1906 of Rolls-Royce Ltd.:

Brad Verity mentioned the above to me.
In the biography brief mention is made of the aristocratic ancestry of Charles Stewart Rolls' mother, but nothing is said about the father. Brad Verity immediately recognised that via the mother Charles Rolls is a descendant of Edward III.

Georgiana Marcia Maclean, the mother of Charles Rolls, had as first king amongst her ancestors James II, king of Scots, who is a descendant of Edward III.

John Allan Rolls, 1st baron Llangattock, the father of Charles Rolls, has as first king amongst his ancestors James V, king of Scots. James V, king of Scots has Edward III in his ancestor list as nrs. 136, 208, 224, 236 and 916.

I have not done much work on the ancestors of the 1st Baron Llangattock, but in my system he has already at least 18 lines to King Edward III.

I had done already a bit more on the ancestors of Georgiana Marcia Maclean, but so far only 2 lines to Edward III.

With best wishes
