Wingfield ancestry for Col. Thomas Neel (d. 1779)?

Looking through WorldConnect, I find the following page for Col.
Thomas Neel of New Acquisition District [ie, now York County], SC:

http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi? ... th&id=I996

He is my ancestor three different ways through my paternal
grandparents:

Sarah Neel m. David Johnston
Jane Johnston m. John Boyd
David Johnston Boyd m. Elizabeth Simrill
Thomas M. Boyd m. Martha M. Ratchford
William Wallace Boyd m. Janie Frances Nivens
Willie Frances Boyd m. Albert Neal Brandon

Sarah Neel m. David Johnston
Jane Johnston m. John Boyd
Eliza M. Boyd m. William Glenn
Sarah Pameler Glenn m. George C. Brandon
Joseph A. Brandon m. Ella J. Brandon
Albert Neal Brandon m. Willie Frances Boyd

Sarah Neel m. David Johnston
Mary Johnston m. John McGill
Sarah Neel McGill m. Joseph Brandon
George C. Brandon m. Sarah Pameler Glenn, etc.

I was aware from research I did as a young teenager that Col. Thomas
Neel was said to be son of an earlier Thomas (m. Sarah ---), and
grandson of a Henry Neale of Cape Fear, NC, who married the widow
Susannah Simpson (this information is from David A. Bigger's _Sketch
of the Neel-Johnston Family of the New Acquisition_).

The WorldConnect website above gives substantially correct information
on Henry Neale of Cape Fear, NC ...

http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi? ... h&id=I1839

Henry's will is found in Grimes' _Abstract of North Carolina Wills_:

http://books.google.com/books?id=f6I4AA ... #PPA262,M1

Notice that it mentions his cousin Samuel Hazell and sister Jane
Husbands. Presumably this Jane is the wife of Richard Husbands, whose
will was proved 1732 in NC, mentioning that he was "late of Barbadoes"
and had sons still living there:

http://books.google.com/books?id=f6I4AA ... #PPA178,M1

The WorldConnect webpage mentioned above does indeed show Henry Neale
with a sister Jane who married (1) John Summers and (2) Richard
Husbands:

http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi? ... h&id=I2050

We find the following records in the extracted IGI:

Saint Michael, Barbados
--Richd. Husbands to Jane "Senners" [surely Summers], 13 Sept. 1722

Also in the same church was record of the 1 March 1690 marriage of
Elizabeth Neale to Samuel Hasell (remember that Henry Neale of Cape
Fear mentioned his cousin "Samuel Hazell").

A certain Samuel Hassell of Philadelphia is mentioned in the
_Wilmington [NC] Town Book_ as having been present at Wilmington for
several years in the 1730s and 40s ...

http://books.google.com/books?id=AVs8AA ... hia&pgis=1

The following results page of a Google Books search indicates that
Samuel Hasell had indeed come to Philadelphia by way of Barbados...

http://books.google.com/books?lr=&q=%22 ... arch+Books

Apparently he spent a few years in North Carolina as well.

All this does indeed show that Henry Neale of Cape Fear had ties to
Barbados, as claimed by the WorldConnect page. I guess my question
concerns the correctness of its identification of his grandmother ad
"Mary Wingfield," wife of Jeremiah Neale?

http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi? ... h&id=I1839

Is this in fact correct? If so, what is the ancestry of Mary
Wingfield?
