The six "provincial islands, viz. Ireland, Iceland, Gothland, the Orkneys, Norway and Dacia"

Ireland, Iceland and "the Orkneys" as islands makes sense.
I can sort-of see why you'd call Gothland (Denmark ?) and Norway "Islands" as they are mostly surrounded by water

Dacia is odd. Apparently is was in the area of Roumania or Bulgaria or Hungary, that general area. It seems to be completely land-locked.

Unless there was another Dacia.

This is a common confusion. Dacia was frequently misinterpreted/
misused for Denmark.

Gothland is southern Sweden, for some time controlled by Denmark but
prior to the 5th century, a distinct tribal entity from both the Danes
and the Birka Swedes - the home of the Geats of Beowulf (at least by
some interpretations).

Dacia was sometimes used for Dania, or Denmark.

Other names that can refer to more than one place are Albania,
Britannia, Georgia, and Iberia.
