According to Plantagenet Ancestry (2004) at p. 212, Sir Edward Grey of
Enville, Staffordshire (who died 1528/9) married as his second wife Anne
Middleton, widow of John Harewell of Wootton, Worcestershire [actually Wootton Wawen,
Warwickshire] (who died 1505) and daughter and coheiress of Richard
Middleton, of Great Lyneford (nowadays written Great Linford), Buckinghamshire, and
London, by Maud, daughter of Sir John Throckmorton.

Maud Throckmorton had previously been married to Sir Thomas Green(e) of
Greens Norton, Northamptonshire, and according to information on
_http://www.greensnortonvillage.co.uk/pages/history.htm_
(http://www.greensnortonvillage.co.uk/pages/history.htm)

[in] "Richard Myddleton's will dated 18 Nov. 1489 he directed that his body
be buried in the tomb of marble which he had 'ordained' under the north wall
of the chapel of the holy Trinity, in the parish of Norton. He desired his
dear wife Maud to enjoy his lands and tenements that he had in the counties of
Northampton and Derby, and of which his wife was jointly seised for life with
himself, this was upon condition of her providing a priest to sing and pray
perpetually in the said church, and for a perpetual obit for him."

Does anyone know anything about that Richard Middleton and his family
(parents, wife, other daughter(s))?
