Byron-Bernake connection

Just a quick question.

It is "said" that James de Byron (died c.1352), son of Sir Richard de
Byron of Clayton, married Elizabeth, daughter of William Bernake and
Alice de Driby. Certainly the chronology of such a marriage seems fine,
but does anyone know of any actual documentary evidence linking these
families? I have done a preliminary search for such documentation and
found none. Perhaps the marriage is taken only from a Visitation record
(but which one?).

Thanks
