Hello Folks,

For those Amiot and Ledran descendants of Antoinette de Longeuval, I
would like to point out that Leo van de Pas's excellent Genealogics.com
website has many of your royal and noble ancestors. Just point your
browser to:

http://www.genealogics.org/pedigree.php ... 6&tree=LEO

Here you will find the pedigree of François de Joyeuse, seigneur de
Champigneulle, the ancestor of Antoinette de Longueval.

Mr. van de Pas is careful to avoid the mistaken lineages of Isabelle de
Montagu and Catherine d'Artois that MM. Gagné and Kokanosky warns us
about in their article. The ancestry of these ladies does NOT include
St-Louis as is mistakenly found at several other websites and publications.

As it is going to take me many years before I enter all these new
ancestors in my database, it is very convenient to visit Genealogics.com
to view our ancestors. I thank Mr. van de Pas for the diligent job he
has done.

For the generations between Antoinette de Longueval and François de
Joyeuse you should order a copy of the Mémoires issue in which MM. Gagné
and Kokanosky published their groundbreaking work. The address for
ordering a copy of this issue is:

Société généalogique canadienne-française
3440, rue Davidson
Montréal, QC H1W 2Z5
CANADA

Ask for the Mémoires, vol. 57, no 1, cahier 251, printemps 2007. The
cost of an issue is $10.50 Canadian or USA. Make your check payable to
either SGCF or Société généalogique canadienne-française.

By the way, M. Gagné is now working on the ancestry of Guillaume Daoust
now. If you would be interested in contributing to this ongoing
project, then please point your browser to
http://www.habitant.org/daoust/ to learn more.
