The Serjeant's Return of his Answer upon his Warrant:
Sir Henry Compton Knight, Sir Wm. Foord Knight, Thomas Jones, Edmond
Windham, Esquires; bailed.
Sir Bazill Brook, in Custody.
Sir John Hales Knight, Fitzwilliam Conisby; ready to attend the House
upon Command.
Sir Nicholas Fortescue Knight, Sir James Bugge Knight, George Gage
Esquire, Tho. Russell Esquire, Franc. Towneley; dead.
Sir Richard Weston Knight, Sir Edw. Stradling Knight, Bainham Vaughan
Esquire, Beverly Britton Esquire, Jo. Gifford Esquire, Franc. Plowden
Esquire; cannot be found by him: And reports they are fled, or keep
themselves close from Arrests.
Whereas the Soapers of Westminster have been heard by their Counsel;
and, after a Report made to this House of the whole Cause, whereupon
they have been voted Delinquents; and a Warrant, directed to the
Serjeant attending this House, to arrest the said Persons; who hath
returned his Answer, That Sir Richard Weston Knight, Francis Plowden
and Beverley Britton Esquires, are fled beyond the Seas; And that Sir
Edward Stradling Knight, John Giffard, Baynham Vaughan and George
Vaughan, Esquires, are not to be found by him;
